III.
Because of their different purposes, the fighting methods of these two factions became two opposing directions.
Samurai were highly trained warriors who learned about meditation and were almost unafraid of death.
Therefore, Samurai focused largely on swordsmanship, how to use many other `mainstream` lethal weapons such as Naginata, and fighting techniques.
Samurai are very proficient in techniques such as Kenjutsu, Iaijutsu, Jujutsu and other techniques such as Bojutsu, Naginatajutsu, Sojutsu.
Samurai does not mean they only know how to use swords, when there are many outstanding samurai using other weapons such as Benkei (with naginata).
But overall, they are all very good swordsmen.
Historically, samurai swordsmanship has developed and divided into many sword sects.
Normally, samurai used up to 2 swords.
Unlike samurai, although ninja’s techniques are very advanced, when fighting fairly, their chances are not very high.
Or at least they were better at using shuriken than regular samurai.
Shinobi are very good at techniques such as the flying technique (also similar to Parkour), stealth skills, evasion, and the use of support tools such as climbing hooks.
And even… guns.
IV.
Although they have many differences, samurai and ninja both have things in common.
Therefore, their image will never fade away and will continue to endure for future generations.
