Tuning company Heritage Customs needed three months and a cost of up to 90,000 USD (equivalent to 2.1 billion VND) to `transform` the Land Rover Defender 90 into a convertible.

Recently, Heritage Customs introduced a vehicle called Valiance Convertible, a convertible SUV created based on the Land Rover Defender 90.

In fact, Land Rover used to sell Defender in convertible form, and these models often `changed hands` for unbelievable sums of money due to their appeal and charm.

The latest Defender product line, launched in 2020, has evolved to be able to upgrade to a long wheelbase of 130, but there is no sign that the company intends to make a convertible variant.

Tuning company Heritage Customs saw the potential of the convertible version, so they got to work.

The British SUV has a metallic blue paint color that combines uniquely with a brown soft roof and white wheel rims.

Customers work closely with Heritage Customs to design their ideal Valiance convertible, with countless options.

The vehicle will be available in a variety of exterior colors, along with unique interior options and materials, such as tailored sports seats.

The hood is handmade and electrically operated, and can be folded neatly at the back.

Heritage Design said they do not have off-the-shelf vehicles, but users will provide their own vehicles with accompanying customization requirements.

Depending on the customer’s wishes, a vehicle can take up to three months to build.

Inside, the Defender retains the familiar dashboard and decorative details to retain the Land Rover character.

Of course, the car retains the same technology and luxury features, including air conditioning and a touchscreen infotainment system.
