(Dan Tri) – Donald Trump’s lawyer announced that the former president will plead not guilty when he appears in court on April 4.

`We will say very loudly and proudly that ‘not guilty,’` Mr. Joe Tacopina, lawyer for former President Donald Trump, said on a CNN program on April 2.
Attorney Tacopina believes that Mr. Trump will face a number of charges, and signaled the former President’s defense campaign, including a plan to attack prosecutor Alvin Bragg’s authority to bring charges against him.
Mr. Tacopina said the payments had previously been investigated by the Federal Election Commission (FEC) as well as the US Department of Justice and concluded `there were no violations`.

Previously, Mr. Tacopina confirmed that the legal team he headed was shocked to hear that the grand jury in New York would indict Mr. Trump.
On March 30, US media reported that a grand jury in New York decided to indict former President Donald Trump.
According to American media, Mr. Trump may appear in Manhattan court, New York on April 4.
An adviser to Mr. Trump said he plans to fly to New York on April 3, spend the night at Trump Tower, before appearing in court on the afternoon of April 4.
The former owner of the White House still affirms that there is no wrongdoing, and at the same time criticizes the investigation against him as a `witch hunt` or `for political purposes`.
