An advisor to Mr. Obama said that today’s speech will directly criticize and highlight America’s current problems.
`The speech will provide a general framework and his message for the fall election. He will give his views on the state of America today and in the future,` the adviser said.

Another aide to Mr. Obama said they were not sure if Mr. Obama was directly referring to Donald Trump’s successor, but no matter what, Americans would understand who he was referring to.
